First, I would like to say THANK YOU to all my Foodineasta followers that have encouraged me and supported me through my writers' block!
I have a few new updates that I will be including on my blog such as restaurant reviews, sharing healthy recipe options for our kid's favorite foods and exploring new food products around the world.
Feeling Spicy
My friend Mamoona and I have a love of Thai food, so on a recent trip to Dubai, we had the pleasure of having dinner at the Thiptara Restaurant at the Palace Downtown Dubai.
You could probably enjoy just about any meal in this beautiful setting with the world's tallest building, The Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain as its backdrop.
Dubai's reputation of providing first class experiences and impeccable service we decided that it would be the best way to spend our last night in this enchanting city.
Since we were preparing for a 2am flight we didn't want to eat anything too heavy so as a starter we both had the Tom Kha Gai soup and the Panang Chicken as our entree. Tom Kha Gai is a classic Thai chicken soup with a coconut base and gets its rich flavor from typical Thai ingredients such as lemongrass, fresh ginger, lime juice chili paste, basil and cilantro. Panang is a dry curry that takes it name from the city island off the West coast of peninsular Malaysia, Penang, or Pulau Pinang in Malay. This type of curry is richer, sweeter, and creamier than the more herbal Thai red or green curry. It can be used to flavor any meat or seafood. A very well known and mainstream Thai dish, it incorporates flavors and aromas from Malaysia, India, and Burma.

Needless to say our last night in Dubai was very special from the wonderful service, the spectacular setting and of course the amazing food!
I will definitely be back!
Please take a look at their website and if you find your self in Dubai one day make sure you plan a visit to Thiptara.
